ARMC Designated A Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality by HRC

GREENSBORO — Alamance Regional Medical Center is among six Cone Health hospitals to be designated a Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the educational arm of the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization.

“We are proud to be recognized again this year,” said Paul Jeffrey, Cone Health’s chief inclusion officer. “Cone Health has a very active LGBT Employee Network Group that works to better serve our patients, staff and communities. Embracing and respecting others is central to our values and our ability to deliver exceptional care.”

This is Cone Health hospitals’ fourth year earning the designation. Cone’s other designated hospitals are Moses H. Cone Memorial, Wesley Long, Women’s, Annie Penn and Cone Health Behavioral Health.
